Teaching Philosophy
Being a teacher is not a compulsion but it’s a willingness to dedicate myself for the change to a better future. For me, "educating is a moral responsibility for every educated person". I believe that a teacher is morally obligated to enter the classroom with the highest of expectations for every student. Thus, the teacher maximizes the positive advantages that naturally come along with any self-fulfilling prophecy. Besides, the teacher must have dedication, perseverance, and hard work in doing his duties.
All students have right to learn and the teachers have roles to assist through the functions as educator, motivator, and consoler during teaching-learning processes. For me, Teaching is not only about delivering the learning material to increase students’ knowledge but also how the teaching process can educate them and build their attitude and personality. Therefore, I conduct a positive attitude, well-prepared materials, appropriate teaching-learning method, approach, and integrate technology in every single class. I believe the students will rise and grow up with not only excellent knowledge and cognitive skill but also with a good attitude and personality (Character Building).
